Terms of Use

The agreement behind ReadySaid.

These Terms govern ReadySaid’s applications, website, accounts, subscriptions, documentation, and related services.

Effective: August 10, 2026Version: terms-2026-08-10Provider: ReadySaid LLC, Florida, United States
On this page Agreement Accounts License Dictation and AI Acceptable use Subscriptions Content and ownership Disclaimers Liability General terms

Please read these Terms. By creating a ReadySaid account, downloading or using the application, joining a paid plan, or otherwise using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use ReadySaid.

1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms are between you and ReadySaid LLC, which operates the service, and any edition-specific licensor identified in the application or store listing (collectively, “ReadySaid,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). The Privacy Policy and purchase disclosures shown at checkout are incorporated into these Terms.

By using ReadySaid, you confirm that you are legally able to accept this agreement. If the laws that apply to you require a parent or guardian to accept on your behalf, that person must review and accept these Terms and is responsible for your use. If you use ReadySaid for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes the organization where applicable.

ReadySaid is initially offered for supported devices and territories identified in the application or purchase flow. Features, languages, platforms, and commercial availability may vary.

2. Accounts and account security

A ReadySaid account may be required. You agree to provide accurate information, protect your credentials and devices, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

You may sign in with a supported identity provider. Your relationship with Google, Apple, Microsoft, or another provider is governed by that provider’s terms. ReadySaid does not receive the password you use with a social sign-in provider.

Do not share an account in a way that defeats plan limits, identity checks, security protections, or purchase rules. We may require reauthentication, purchase restoration, or other reasonable verification before sensitive account changes.

3. Limited application license

Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, ReadySaid grants you a limited, personal or internal-business, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the ReadySaid application on supported devices you own or control. Distribution-channel rules may provide additional device, family, or organizational rights.

ReadySaid is licensed, not sold. ReadySaid and its licensors reserve every right not expressly granted. You may not copy, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, host, or commercially exploit the application except as expressly permitted by these Terms, a written agreement, or non-waivable law.

4. Dictation, text refinement, and your review

ReadySaid is designed for intentional, push-to-talk dictation. You control when capture starts and stops. You are responsible for choosing the destination, monitoring the recording state, and reviewing output before you send, publish, sign, submit, or rely on it.

Speech recognition, punctuation, cleanup, names, numbers, formatting, contextual substitutions, and Natural or Professional rewriting can be incomplete or wrong. ReadySaid may omit words, choose the wrong word, misapply punctuation, or change meaning despite safeguards. Never assume an output is accurate merely because it is fluent.

ReadySaid is not a professional transcription service and is not medical, legal, tax, financial, employment, or other professional advice. Do not use it for emergency communications, safety-critical controls, passwords, authentication codes, or any situation where an error could cause death, injury, material financial loss, loss of rights, or other serious harm.

Recording and other people

ReadySaid is primarily for your own speech. If your use captures another person, a call, meeting, or private communication, you are solely responsible for providing required notice and obtaining every consent required by applicable recording, wiretap, privacy, employment, or biometric law. Some jurisdictions require all participants to consent. Device permission does not establish legal consent.

Optional cloud processing

Eligible Natural or Professional output may use separately enabled cloud-assisted text refinement. Availability depends on account consent, entitlement, allowance, network access, server activation, and third-party services. ReadySaid may reject a cloud result and use locally cleaned text instead. See Data Controls and the Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use ReadySaid to:

  • violate law, another person’s rights, or a contractual duty;
  • covertly record, surveil, harass, threaten, defraud, impersonate, or exploit another person;
  • create or distribute unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or malicious content;
  • obtain unauthorized access to an account, device, network, service, or data;
  • bypass secure fields, Secure Keyboard Entry, permission prompts, authentication, rate limits, allowances, payment controls, or other safeguards;
  • introduce malware, interfere with the service, probe nonpublic systems, scrape at scale, or use automated access not expressly authorized by ReadySaid;
  • resell or expose ReadySaid’s hosted speech or refinement services as a separate API or backend; or
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code, except only to the extent non-waivable law permits.

We may investigate suspected abuse, impose reasonable technical limits, suspend features, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect ReadySaid, users, providers, or the public.

6. Trials, subscriptions, cancellation, and refunds

ReadySaid may offer free functionality and an automatically renewing Professional subscription. The controlling purchase screen shows the current price, currency, trial eligibility, included features, billing period, renewal date, and cancellation terms before you subscribe.

The intended initial direct U.S. Professional offer is USD $9.99 per month with a 14-day trial for eligible accounts. A payment method is required for that direct trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to the disclosed paid monthly plan and renews until canceled. Taxes may be added. Trial eligibility is limited and is not guaranteed.

If a purchase screen differs from the preceding intended offer, the purchase screen controls for that transaction. ReadySaid will not charge a recurring fee without displaying the amount, cadence, trial conversion, and cancellation method before enrollment.

  • Direct Mac and Windows purchases: Stripe hosts Checkout and the Customer Portal. You can cancel through the supported ReadySaid billing-management flow. Cancellation stops the next renewal; paid access ordinarily continues through the current period.
  • Apple purchases: Apple processes the purchase. Manage cancellation and refund requests using Apple’s subscription and purchase-support tools.
  • Account deletion: deleting a ReadySaid account does not itself cancel an Apple subscription. For a supported direct Stripe account-deletion flow, cancellation is immediate and non-prorated, remaining subscription time may be forfeited, and deletion does not itself create a refund.

Refund eligibility and processing depend on the controlling purchase disclosure, the payment provider’s rules, and applicable law. Apple handles App Store refund requests. For a direct-purchase question, contact ReadySaid Support. ReadySaid does not promise a refund unless the purchase offer, a published refund rule, or applicable law provides one.

We may change future prices or plan features with notice required by law. A price change does not apply retroactively to a completed billing period.

7. Your content, feedback, and ReadySaid ownership

You retain your rights in text and other content you provide. You give ReadySaid a limited permission to process, display, copy, insert, synchronize, transmit, and review that content only as needed to provide features you request, secure the service, comply with law, and as described in the Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for content you process. You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and use of your content and resulting output.

The ReadySaid application, service, original interfaces, documentation, branding, and related technology are owned by ReadySaid or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. If you voluntarily provide feedback, you grant ReadySaid a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use it without restriction or compensation, without giving ReadySaid ownership of your dictation content.

8. Third-party services and availability

ReadySaid depends on operating-system services, app stores, identity providers, Supabase, OpenAI, Stripe, internet and hosting services, and destination applications. Third parties control their services and may change, suspend, or discontinue them. Their own terms and privacy practices apply.

We may update ReadySaid for compatibility, security, performance, legal, or product reasons. An update may be required to continue using some features. We do not promise that every feature, model, language, device, distribution channel, or version will remain available.

9. Warranty disclaimer

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, READYSAID IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” READYSAID LLC AND ITS LICENSORS DISCLAIM ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

We do not warrant that speech or rewritten output will be correct, that information will never be lost, or that the service will meet every accessibility, professional, compliance, or business requirement. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, consumer guarantee, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Limitation of liability and indemnity

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, READYSAID LLC AND ITS LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS; OR THE COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO READYSAID, EVEN IF ADVISED THAT SUCH DAMAGES WERE POSSIBLE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF READYSAID LLC AND ITS LICENSORS FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO READYSAID WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF USD $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR READYSAID DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

These limits apply to the fullest extent allowed but do not limit liability that cannot legally be limited, including where applicable for fraud, willful misconduct, or personal injury caused by negligence.

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ReadySaid LLC and its personnel from third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use, your content, your violation of another person’s rights, your failure to obtain recording consent, or your material breach of these Terms.

11. Suspension, termination, and general terms

You may stop using ReadySaid at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, unlawful or abusive use, security risk, nonpayment, provider requirements, or when reasonably necessary to protect the service or others. Where appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to cure. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute terms—survive termination.

You may not use or export ReadySaid in violation of applicable sanctions or export-control law. Neither party is liable for delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, except payment obligations.

Florida law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer protections in your home jurisdiction continue to apply. These Terms do not add an arbitration or class-action waiver. A court with lawful jurisdiction may hear a dispute.

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or transfer of the service. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and controlling purchase disclosures are the entire agreement for the consumer service.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated as required by law. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted.

Mac App Store supplemental terms

If you obtain ReadySaid through Apple’s Mac App Store, these Terms are between you and the ReadySaid developer identified in the App Store listing, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the application or support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section and may enforce it. Your license is limited to Apple-branded products you own or control and is subject to Apple’s Usage Rules and any applicable Family Sharing or volume-purchase terms. Apple’s refund remedy may apply if the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, subject to Apple’s terms and non-waivable law.
